The corporate practice is headed by Rupin Pawha. Rupin read law at Oxford, was admitted to the Bar Council of Delhi and now has more than 25 years of work experience. He has worked both in India (with Amarchand Mangaldas, India’s pre-eminent firm) and overseas (in Singapore with a magic circle English law firm, Linklaters) before starting Juris Legal.
Rupin’s projects include domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, financing (both corporate and project finance), project development (both for governmental and private entities), commercial contracts and general corporate advisory. Rupin and his team regularly advise Indian and foreign entities on Indian company laws, real estate transactions, intellectual property, foreign investments and private equity transactions.
Rupin has acted on a number of high profile multi-jurisdictional deals, and regularly advises Indian and foreign clients wishing to do business in different countries.
Rupin is a member of Global Leaders in Law, the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators and the Bar Council of Delhi.
